Rebecca is a retired Registered Nurse with 30 years of dedicated service at a Veterans Affairs hospital. As the daughter of a WWII veteran who served aboard the USS Apigon, her connection to the veteran community spans both her professional career and personal life.
Throughout her nursing career, Rebecca worked closely with veterans coping with PTSD and other service-related mental health challenges. Her hands-on experience gave her a deep understanding of the clinical, emotional, and systemic barriers veterans often face when seeking care.
A member of the Veterans Mental Health Council, Rebecca is passionate about reducing veteran suicide and improving access to meaningful mental health support. Her advocacy is driven by decades of firsthand experience and a steadfast belief that veterans deserve compassionate, informed, and consistent care long after their service ends.
